Ribbon-Bow Studio

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using ribbonbow.studio (the "Site") or engaging Ribbon-Bow Studio for any services. By accessing the Site or entering into a service agreement with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
1. About Ribbon-Bow Studio
Ribbon-Bow Studio is a game localization agency operating under Ribbon-Bow LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, USA. We provide Latin American Spanish localization services for independent and mid-size game developers, including translation, linguistic quality assurance, glossary and style guide creation, localization consulting, and SEO/ASO optimization.
2. Use of the Site
The Site is intended for game developers, studios, and other professionals seeking information about our services. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not:
• Use the Site to transmit any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce Site content without our prior written permission.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us.
3. Services and Agreements
All service engagements between Ribbon-Bow Studio and a client are governed by a separate written agreement ("Service Agreement") entered into prior to the start of any project. These Terms of Use govern your use of the Site and general conduct; the Service Agreement governs the specific terms of your project, including scope, deliverables, timelines, pricing, revisions, and payment.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Use and a signed Service Agreement, the Service Agreement takes precedence.
4. Payments
Payments for services are processed through Stripe or PayPal. By submitting a payment, you agree to the terms and conditions of the applicable payment processor. Ribbon-Bow Studio does not store payment card information on its servers.
Unless otherwise specified in a Service Agreement, all fees are quoted and billed in US dollars. Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced, except as expressly stated in the applicable Service Agreement.
5. Intellectual Property
Your Content. You retain full ownership of all source materials, game assets, scripts, and text you provide to Ribbon-Bow Studio for localization purposes. By engaging our services, you grant us a limited license to use your materials solely for the purpose of completing the agreed project.
Our Deliverables. Upon receipt of full payment, all translated and localized content produced by Ribbon-Bow Studio for your project becomes your property. We retain no rights to your localized content after delivery and final payment.
Site Content. All content on the Site — including text, design, copy, and branding — is the property of Ribbon-Bow LLC and may not be reproduced or used without our written permission.
6. Confidentiality
We understand that game projects are often confidential prior to release. Any non-public materials you share with us for the purpose of a localization project will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except as required by law. If your project requires a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement, we are happy to execute one prior to the start of work.
7. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Ribbon-Bow Studio makes no representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the information on the Site for any particular purpose.
We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ribbon-Bow LLC and its principals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Ribbon-Bow Studio for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of New Mexico, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
